Terms of Review Submission

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern submissions to the Capability-Centric Engineering independent human review intake. By selecting the acceptance checkbox and submitting a review, you agree to the version shown above. If you do not agree, do not submit the form. You may instead contact cce@bortolu.com.

2. Reviewer eligibility and declarations

You must submit your own human assessment. You must accurately identify the scope reviewed, relevant competence, conflicts of interest and material limitations. A submission made by an AI system, or presented as human work when it is not, is not admissible for the publication-assurance record.

3. Submission standards

Your review must be lawful, relevant and submitted in good faith. Do not include confidential information, trade secrets, special-category personal data, third-party personal data that you are not authorised to disclose, malicious code, unlawful content or material that infringes another person's rights.

4. Rights in submitted material

You retain ownership of original material in your review. You grant Matteo Bortolu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, analyse, quote, summarise and incorporate the review findings into CCE assurance records, corrections and later publication versions. This licence is limited to publication assurance, research integrity, revision and audit purposes. Your email address, private contact details and full review will not be published without separate permission unless disclosure is required by law.

You confirm that you have the rights required to grant this licence and that any quotations or third-party material are lawfully used and clearly identified.

5. Assessment and publication effect

Submission does not guarantee acceptance, attribution, response, publication or a change to the book's review status. The authorised owner may screen, verify, request clarification, accept, reject or retain findings according to the governed review process. Only a formally accepted and filed disposition can affect the publication-assurance record.

6. AI transparency

AI systems materially assisted the CCE publication and its production artefacts. They are not accountable human reviewers. Submitted reviews may be processed with bounded technical tools for security, formatting, duplicate detection and controlled analysis, but accountable acceptance decisions remain human responsibilities.

7. Privacy

Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Notice. The notice identifies the controller, purposes, lawful basis, retention, recipients, transfers and reviewer rights.

8. Availability and security

The service is provided for research-publication assurance. Availability is not guaranteed. Access may be restricted to protect the service, the evidence record or affected individuals. Reasonable safeguards are applied, but no Internet submission channel can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Liability boundary

The review intake and CCE publication do not provide legal, security, safety, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law and disputes

Governing law: Italian law
Jurisdiction: the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts

Mandatory rights and protections that apply regardless of this clause remain unaffected.

11. Changes and contact

A material change creates a new terms version. The form records the version accepted with the submission. Questions or withdrawal requests can be sent to cce@bortolu.com.
